CBHCS 2020: Re-Opening Virtually

Dear Parents,

I have an important update for you on how we will be opening for the beginning of CBHCS 2020-21:

As you know, we rent the Friends' School of Atlanta for our Sunday program, and we’ve had an excellent working relationship with FSA for over 10 years.

They informed us that after careful consideration that they will not be able to lease the campus to outside organizations on Sundays beginning in August. They are open to keeping in touch with us and re-evaluating when it will be safe for us to return to the FSA campus.

Fortunately, we are prepared to begin a rich and exciting virtual CBHCS program in August and expect to remain meeting virtually through at least December 2020.

Given the rising cases of COVID-19 in Georgia and the quickly changing nature of the pandemic, we believe that opening virtually in August is the best way to prioritize the health and safety of our families while continuing to deliver a meaningful Jewish educational and communal experience .

Since we had been gearing up for this possibility, we are confident and excited about launching our virtual program on Sunday, August 16th. We will share all the info you’ll need for the virtual program, including full schedule, class lists, teacher info, virtual tutoring info, etc in an email that will go out on July 27th

If this is disappointing, please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am happy to discuss them one-on-one with you by phone or Zoom.

Hazak hazak v'nitchazek!

(Be strong, be strong, and let us strengthen one another!)
